GRAND KNIGHT MESSAGE
To all my Brother Knights,
First and foremost, I pray that you and your families are doing well. May the Lord Jesus Christ continue to bless us, keep us healthy, and give us the strength and courage to overcome the challenges we face.
I thank you for your support and for allowing me to be your Grand Knight for this Columbian year. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself. My name is Efrain and I have been a Knight since January 25, 1996. My wife and I have been members of the St. John Vianney parish community since 1988 and are proud to be raising three great kids, Gabriel my oldest is 16, Cecilia is 15, and Daniel is 7 years old.
This year promises to be challenging but together we, as brothers, can overcome any barriers and obstacles ahead. As Grand Knight I welcome all the ideas that you may have for raising funds for our Community Outreach. This year we are blessed with a great group of men that have committed themselves as our Council Directors and together with all the brotherly support our council gets, we will be able to share our blessings with the rest of our church. July has already been a busy month for most of us. With our very successful fireworks stand and our 4th of July Parade behind us, there is another very important day to our council coming up. Please remember our Quarterly Communion and Installation of Officers on July 27th. In August 3rd we will try to begin our Pancake Breakfasts, followed by our Golf tournament on August 9th. I would like to invite all Brother Knights to help me in making them successful. Your input is very important to me. Any ideas you might have for future events are welcome. Please contact me or come by our meetings on Wednesday's to share your knowledge and talents with our Council.
